Highbury is Now Luxury Apartments
12 September 2008 | No Comments »I was at work today when I was looking at Arsenal.com and I saw a banner ad at the top of the page promoting apartments for sale in Highbury. I couldn’t resist clicking on it, even though I absolutely abhor banner ads and the increase in page load times they create (not to mention destroying design aesthetic). The feeling in my stomach and the fear in my heart proved to be true: they’ve turned the old Arsenal Stadium, Highbury, into luxury apartments that start at the low, low asking price of £345,000 or approximately $617,000 USD (at time of publication). Take a look at the site bragging about this atrocity and view the photo gallery. Any true Gooner should be repulsed. The place should be an f-ing museum, not a rich man’s shitbox.
