We’re halfway through the season, and the transfer window is about to shut. What’s that mean for Arsenal? So far, not much. However, there *is* good news in North London. Eduardo is set to make his return to the first team. Great timing, too, ‘cos if Arsene doesn’t let loose of the purse strings and Zenit St. Petersburg don’t relent on their unrealistic financial demands for Andrei Arshavin, de Silva could be our only hope of finishing in the top four this season.

Hull City FC vs. Arsenal
24 September 2008 | 1 Comment » | lexBeulahland is hosting this Saturday’s match with Hull City at 9:30 a.m. Come down and support the Gunners in League play as we look to stay up over Chelsea with 3 more points and hopefully continue the goal onslaught to go higher in the GD column.
Samir Nasri is still out, but Gael Clichy is back, as well as Mikael Silvestre who will finally get to appear for the side since his transfer from Manchester United. Alex Song, who, even though he played against Sheffield United on Tuesday in Carling Cup action, should be back to full strength after a hip injury. However, Tomas Rosicky (hamstring), Abou Diaby (thigh), Amaury Bischoff (groin) and striker Eduardo (leg) are still sidelined.
