This site began as a place for me to let others know about Arsenal matches in Portland and where to watch them. Our numbers have grown from just a few die-hards to a more consistent group of around 15-20 supporters who come out regularly. So, the scope of the site has changed to more of a general supporters site instead of just my individual input.

Having said that, here is a quick bio of myself. Others will follow in due time. My name is Lex and I’m a web site designer and developer living in Portland, Oregon. I’m also the Portland Branch Office Manager of Arsenal America. I became an Arsenal fan in 1998 as a result of a couple of my friends being supporters of Liverpool and Manchester United. I wanted to support a different team in the interest of friendly rivalry, and, well, to be honest, I loved the name Arsenal. So, I went with the Gunners and never looked back.

To this very day I’ve supported the Gunners, with each passing year finding the team and the sport take up a bigger part of my life. I still have many friends who support other sides, and somehow we manage to watch matches in the same room without beating each other senseless.
